I too think he hit the nail on the head. With NLE's, reading the
required hardware specs is of the utmost importance. Going with the
minimum spec to me is a disaster if you plan on making use of all those
wonderful features you bought the software for. Reading the forums will
also give you an idea what others are using and their results.
Problem free software? Not there yet. But the right system hardware goes
a long way to system stability. Liquid has been stable for me since v5.5
when I went from DV500 w/Premiere v6.5 (which was not a bad system).
