I have Philips DVDR 615. When I set VPS/PDC on in a timer (which is
supposed to ensure that recording starts when the program starts)
sometimes it works, other times not. Sometimes it produces a popup that
offers a choice: switch now / suspend / cancel.
A. It seems odd to me that personal attention is needed, since the
point of setting a timer is to automate the recording.
B. Even if I give it personal attention and accept switch now, the
popup just repeats itself.
Any suggestions on why I'm having this problem?
