I do small, film style, two and three camcorder (iso recorded) gigs
from time to time. In the SD days I'd carry around an AC powered
little 6x1 Panasonic WJ-220 video switcher to be able to take up to six
SD composite video signals in that could be switched to one output
(into my scope, engineering monitor) for the sake of monitoring many
sources to one output.
Anybody use anything similar for HD two or three camcorder multicam
shoots? I guess I'm looking for something small (not a large rack
mount unit), AC powered, a 4x1 or 6x1 type of switcher that I could
take HDSDI into and have those sources switched to a single HDSDI
output. Of course, "loop throughs" for the inputs would still be nice
too.
Any favorites?
