I don't know HOW it does it, but the bundled version can check the hardware
of the drive and refuse to install if it doesn't match the type with which
it was bundled. At least, this is my experience.
When I was rebuilding the machine that I'd installed the replacement drive,
I picked up the nero disc from the original drive. I wouldn't install, and
gave a message indicating that it was because it wasn't the right drive.
However the disc that came with the replacement drive worked OK.
It may not be an issue for you, but you may find it doesn't install, and
that may be the reason why.
