With one big difference -- when DVDs came out, pretty much everyone
in America owned a TV. HDTV penetration is still limited, and the
price of sets hasn't come out that much yet. I think it'll be five
to ten years before an HD video disc becomes popular, and by then
Blu-Ray and HD-DVD will be as primitive as laserdisc.
