No- Not Sony. Anything but them.
NEC, Pioneer, LG, Benq - all vastly superior.

Well, I believe that answers most of my questions I wanted to post. But in
short, I am planning on a sony dvd burner purchase from amazon and I
wanted some opinions about this particular product. The burner will be
installed on my system comprised of the following:
ABIT motherbrd
Athlon XP 1.8 Ghz
512 meg Ram
Asus video w/64 meg ram
I hope my system will handle it.
The unit I am considering can be found here....

Thanks abunch for the help.
