And despite your moaning about how "worthless" my posts are, you continue
to reply to them, spreading your insults across 4 separate posts. An
insult is not an argument.

Except that...Blu-Ray does the exact same thing.

So, why no Blu-Ray instead of HD-DVD? They support the same codecs, the
same outputs, the same resolutions - and Blu-Ray will support "deep color"
with the newer HDMI 1.3 equipped TVs. (yet another reason to wait and see
what happens) Both support ICT/DRM, both support region locked dicscs,
both support multi-layer discs, etc. etc. It's like saying "6 isn't the
same as half a dozen".

It doesn't matter which one wins - so long as ONE of them wins. When that
happens, it'll be time to buy. But now? Buying now is simply placing a
bet with, at best, 50-50 odds that you chose the winning format. You
would have almost been better off going to Vegas with your $600. At least
they'd have given you free drinks and maybe even dinner.

Maybe you chose wisely, only time will tell.
