X-Men 2. I watched it again recently and didn't find it as enjoyable to be
honest, but for me it's still the best "traditional comic book hero" movie.
Other great comic book adaptations are Ghost World, Road to Perdition and
From Hell (yes I thought it was a great comic-to-film adaptation -slice me
in pieces!), although I know that's not what we're talking about here.
For me, Spiderman 2 _was_ Spiderman 1 with an Octopus in place of a Goblin.
"Blockbuster" movies are just _so_ dreary these days when the only thing
that changes between films are the faces of the goodies and the faces of the
baddies.
