I finally got my copy and watched it yesterday. I noticed something a
little odd -- as did two online reviews
(http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=21318 and
http://www.dvdtown.com/review/shoesofthefishermanthe/17929/3579): at
about 2 hours into the film (the first review gives 2:06), the
soundtrack is slightly out-of-synch.
I checked the VHS tape this is replacing, and there is no problem
there, so it appears to be a real problem with the DVD.
I will be contacting Warner Home Video, but I was wondering if there
is anything known about this problem that I should be aware of first?
Also, given how little activity there has been lately, I was wondering
if anybody else is actually subscribing to rec.video.dvd.titles.
