True. It depends on your application and a variety of other factors.

Perhaps true at one point but I don't believe it's so anymore. Also,
remember that a high percentage of Avids are Mac-based and your biggest
beef was with a defective motherboard as I recall. I would be
curious to see a chart of their market share.
