If a "classical salesman" gives his honest opinion (right or wrong) and
tries his best to be objective, then you're correct. If you perceive
me as someone who is unwilling to accept any criticism of the products
I like best I'm sorry to hear that. You're wrong, fortunately.

Apple/Mac IS the best solution for many people. It ISN'T the best
solution for others. Now what criticism is it I've been unwilling to
hear? I've only said that because it didn't work for YOU does not
equate to it NEVER works. It's a simple concept really. You got a bad
taste in your mouth and you have an axe to grind. I understand but
that doesn't make them all bad.
People should know the advantages and disadvantages of any system
before they buy. I give them both sides. I also say "Personally, I
prefer Mac but not everyone does." Some of the choices are objective
(price, rate of repairs) others are subjective (OS "feel", software
interface). Whatever stereotype you're trying to stick on me doesn't
wash, sorry.
Here's what's classic salesman about me (and by the way I used to
produce content too):
Whatever you buy, I'd appreciate it if you'd buy it from me. : > So
sue me.
