Excellent advice Craig. The only reason I'm a Vegas user is that I started
with Vegas 1.0 when it was an audio-only app. I needed something for doing
multi-track audio sweetening for video as 3/4" tape was limited to 2 tracks
(remember those days??) and Vegas was the only affordable tool at the time.
I've stuck with it over the years and have no regrets. The coders have made
a pretty solid program that rarely crashes and will run on almost any PC
ever made :-)
As I said earlier in this thread, I'm looking into a laptop purchase and,
with the introduction of Bootcamp, am now considering a Mac. If there was a
way to clone myself so that I could actually find time to learn yet another
piece of software, I'd be a happy editor :-)
