You are stupid. The technology wasn't even available back then to
provide what is being made now. The stream size is far to huge, and we
didn't pass data that fast back anywhere but in military circles...
and maybe ma bell. Certainly not in any consumer product anywhere.
Laser disc came out around the time of the 286. HDTV didn't even
exist as a concept yet.
