....and you still cannot get it through your thick skull that HD-DVD
and/or Blu-Ray, even though they are vast improvements over DVD, will
be nothing more than a niche market UNTIL the costs drop to something
close to current DVD players. Hell, most consumers don't even have
a monitor/TV that will display the new format in all its glory.

I agree that the differences are apparent, I am not arguing this point.
I am saying that the masses will not see enough of a difference to cough up
the costs of a new player and TV just to hop on the HD bandwagon.
Obviously, you have a HD-DVD player connected to a good display and you
are very happy with it.
Most consumers do not really give a shit as they are quite happy renting
DVDs and playing them on their old players connected to their stereo TVs.
Ok Roy, time for your reply where you rant on about retards, rental
retards, dipshits, parrots....etc. As you have been told before, you
do have knowledge and valuable opinions but it all comes across as
verbal diarrhea when you attack and abuse rather than discuss.
