Even if players drop below $200, you still need a HDTV to get the benefit
of the enhanced video. Otherwise, why bother? And HDTV sets are still
out of the price range of most folks at the moment.
For no other reason, the price of HDTV will be what keeps Blu-Ray and
HD-DVD in the high-end market.
And by the time HDTV has truly gone mainstream, some new format will come
along that'll replace both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD.
