I bought a Yamada 6700 a couple of years ago and have CAINED it since,
watching DIVX, XVID, AVI, MPEG, and according to ScreenSelect and
MyMovieStream (the two DVD clubs I'm a member of) I have watched over 400
DVDs!!!
Never gone wrong. SO I would not hesitate in recommending the Yamada
series. Making it multi-region requires a simple one-off crack (pressing a
series of keys on the remote - see the net for the details).
The only thing it won't play is WMV files, and movies with more than 1
point GMC (do any of them play them anyway?)
