Sanyo 30" HDTV at Wal-Mart for $476. Includes tuner for over-the-air HD.

The latest technology is two different formats, at least one of which will
die, leaving the players orphaned. Stick with plain old DVD for now.
My Sanyo HDTV has such a good upconverter that it doesn't seem to make any
real difference if the player has an upconverter. Get a cheap player like a
CyberHome 300 and start saving for that plasma TV.
