DLT7000 at home. 35 gigs native capacity per tape. My storage
needs are modest and this will be more than enough capacity for me
for the forseeable future. The drives can be had in the $100-150
range now on Ebay and are quite reliable. DLT4000 drives are pretty
much giveaway items now.
At work, we are using LTO-3, which holds 400 gigs native per tape.
We had previously been using DLT7000, but tape costs alone made it
cheaper to switch to LTO.
