Have you tried buying a copy of "The Dangerous Book for Boys"? Amazon
(and the publisher, Harper Collins) make the book available in the UK
(where it was written), and in Canada, Germany, France, Australia,
etc., but not in the US.

Sure, one could buy the book from an overseas source, but that means
paying the currency exchange costs as well as much higher international
shipping fees.

I have no idea why the book isn't available in the US, but it isn't. I
guess a British product makes more sense to the French than to
Americans, perhaps?

So I can kinda see a reason for the limitation -- but for Disney to
export a US product to overseas markets, and withhold it from Americans
just baffles me. I guess they aren't concerned about how its treatment
of American blacks will be viewed by blacks overseas, but they are
still concerned about how that treatment will be received by blacks
here in the US.
