This works well for me except I don't have a DVR. I burn the Tivo
programs to a set-top Panasonic burner. I begin each recording with a
few seconds of the Tivo program descriptions. The end result is a nice
series of organized motion thumbnails on the finalized DVDs.
I've never used the Tivo "burn to DVD" menu. I'm wondering if there is
any added benefit in doing it that way.
