It's well known that Netflix will throttle you down. If you want to
watch more movies, you can upgrade, for more $$/month, to a plan with
the ability to have more movies out, up to 8.
Remember, they have to pay people to handle the DVD's for shipping.
They have to pay the post office to ship them. They have to pay for the
DVD's themselves. In other words, that $17.99 only pays for so much
before they start losing money.
