Scrambled video from the curb to the settop box is already old hat.
If you just made that video source internal, you really wouldn't be changing
much. It wouldn't be anymore objectionable than a Tivo already is.

Of course actually allowing and encouraging fully legitimate devices
such as these are the only real defense that Hollywood has. They're just too
STUPID to realize it. You can either control the tech, or not control it.

Supression just isn't going to happen.
