Forget Sampson. Forget Nady. Forget anything made by Azden.
If you can sfford $1000, buy a Lectrosonics. If $500 is more in the
ballpark, buy a Sennheiser Evolution-100 mic. It's nearly as good as the
lectro, but not so rugged.
Don't buy anything used, as wireless mics have a tendency to develop
internittent problems, and even if you demo it might sound fine, and exhibit
the problem at a critical time later.
