It probably depends on how you are doing the conversion, ie, using a
stand alone DVD burner (if so, the brand/model) or a computer DVD
burner (and then what software). But the answer in most cases is yes,
based on the fact that I can do that with either my standalone burner
or my computer. I suggest you read the manual for whatever
hardware/software combination you are using. Then if you still can't
determine it, post back here with all the details of what you're
using.... someone may have experience with the same.
