I agree with you. I couldn't watch this show past the first episode.
The acts are up there for 60 seconds and at least 30 seconds of it is
reaction shots of the audience and the judges, it's the worst directed
'talent" show I've ever seen.
Of course, any act who goes up with a fast paced song or high energy
gets applauded no matter how stock, talentless or stupid; it's the most
forgiving audience in the history of audiences. But the judges are
idiots, clueless buffoons who have no business judging a talent show
(don't get me started on this). When the brit said to the rapping
granny "you're what this show is about" I stopped watching.
