APRES VOUS (reviewed by Russell Engebretson, overall score 90/100):
"Apres Vous is an artfully crafted French romantic comedy with just a
touch of drama to keep the viewer slightly in suspense. It's light,
effervescent, and strikes a careful balance between sentiment and
sentimentality."

CLUELESS: WHATEVER! EDITION (reviewed by Erick Harper, overall
score 85/100):
"Filmmakers like Heckerling (and Hughes) who understand teenagers and
make worthwhile teen films celebrate nascent maturity rather than
reveling in perpetual, caricatured adolescence. That Heckerling hides
this under such a seemingly lightweight exterior is part of what makes
Clueless so much fun."

THE ELLEN DEGENERES COLLECTION (reviewed by Bryan Pope, overall
score 76/100):
"At her best, Degeneres is nothing less than a gift from that great
black woman in the sky."

GANKUTSUOU: THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO, CHAPTER 1 (reviewed by James A.
Stewart, overall score 90/100):
"The first four episodes of this 24-part series (to be released in six
'chapters' on DVD) are merely prelude for an elaborate story, but the
rich visuals were a treat for the eyes and the story intrigued me
enough that I'm looking forward to seeing the next batch of episodes
in January."

GATCHAMAN: VOLUMES 5-6 (reviewed by Mike Pinsky, overall score 80/100):
"You'll never admit to collecting these volumes if you ever want to get
a date, but you'll probably keep buying them anyway."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/gatchamanvol5and6.php
GENESIS: THE VIDEO SHOW (reviewed by Adam Arseneau, overall score
92/100):
"The breadth of the material is staggering. Having 32 videos spanning
over 25 years of music on a single DVD is a unique pleasure not afforded
by many bands, simply because people actually stop living within the
span of a quarter century, let alone keep the same job."

MYTHICAL DETECTIVE LOKI RAGNAROK: GODS AND DETECTIVES (VOLUME 1)
(reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 45/100):
"What's a trickster god trapped inside the frame of a Midgardian preteen
boy to do? Hire a butler, hook up with a clumsy schoolgirl, and start a
paranormal detective agency, of course."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/ragnarokvol1.php
NBA DYNASTY SERIES: NEW YORK KNICKS: THE COMPLETE HISTORY (reviewed by
David Johnson, overall score 89/100):
"As a fan myself, I can attest to the quality of this set; all the
important bases are covered to render a nice overview of a team that has
pissed me off to no end."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/knickshistory.php
ORIGINAL DIRTY PAIR: MOVIE COLLECTION (reviewed by James A. Stewart,
overall score 82/100):
"The two shorter adventures rely on the classic formula you might recall
from The Avengers or The X-Files: two unorthodox investigators are
called in to investigate an unusual crime with important implications,
albeit on distant planets, and with explosions that would blast a hole
in any live-action TV show's budget."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/dirtypaircoll.php
ROBOTECH: THE PROTOCULTURE COLLECTION (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall
score 90/100):
"I remember as a kid I was riveted by the series, and couldn't believe
the amount of death, sex, and violence in it. In G.I. Joe or
Transformers nobody ever died, not even the bad guys. But in Robotech
anything could happen."
FULL REVIEW: http://www.dvdverdict.com/reviews/robotechprotoculture.php
ZIGGY'S GIFT (reviewed by Mac McEntire, overall score 89/100):
"Here's Ziggy, an honest, well-meaning guy with nothing overly unique or
special about him, and yet he makes a difference just by being himself."
