This is what I was going to say to that.

"I watched RAGING BULL (the very nice special edition) last night (just
to get this back on topic), and there was a scene when Jake LaMottat was
in a fight with Sugar Ray for the fifth time, and Ray was beating him
silly on the ropes. After Ray was declared the winner, LaMotta goes to
Ray's side of the ring, and in the midst of the mayhem of victory,
through swollen lips and pulverized face, manages to get Ray's
attention: 'Ray. Hey, Ray. You never got me down, man. You never got
me down.'"
