I want to kick myself for missing two important clips during a wedding due
to the toggle record button (press once record, press again standby). Once
in a while the camcorder is pause when I think it's recording -- until I
scan the record/standby indicator. But I can't keep scanning the indicator
every second; it's very annoying.
This would be a non issue if there is a REC button and a separate STANDBY
button. I can just hit the REC button when I want to record and not have to
check whether it is recording or pausing.
Does such a simple feature exist in any camcorders? Is it possible to
retrofit a trv900 to do this?
I'm shooting the wedding as a favor for a friend's friend. Still, I feel
very lousy. I hope the other videographers covered my mistakes. I also hope
I missed only 2 clips (still afraid to check the tapes). I don't want this
to ever happen again.
