Technical people are very rarely really intelligent. They just
understand technical stuff, but it doesn't involve any sophisticated
mental skills. Now, if you INVENTED the stuff, you'd have some bragging
rights. But, alas, you're just a military technical person, with a
crash course and some OJT.
