I would begin by consulting a lawyer to see what form of release I
need to have each parishioner sign, giving consent to be recorded.
Or when you say "record the service" do you really mean just what's
going on up in the chancel? In that case you just need to worry about
consent of the people who will be on camera and the musicians whose
performance will be recorded -- plus rights to the music itself, of
course.
