A more helpful suggestion perhaps is to ask various people at the
service or reception "what is the secret of a successful, lasting
marriage?" Montaging all the contrary answers makes for lots of fun
later.
Other possibles:
"what do you expect he/she is going to finally have to give up now?"
"If this couple were famous actors/characters, who would they most be
like?"
" Like in the high school yearbook, predict where they will be and what
they will doing in 10 years".
This last one became scary when I asked one bride: you could see she
hadn't really thought about it yet and the expressions on her face as
she tried to think it through, right there, were dramatic... especially
when she apparently came to a conclusion, then thought better of it,
and finally said: "Um... we'll be happy. I guess. "
Yikes!
Editing is a wonderful thing....
