For years, I've been using good old standard 192kbps mp3 encoding for
ripping my CDs etc.
However, lately I'm wondering whether this is actually a bit old
fashioned.
Can anyone recommend a better (as in audio quality) file format for
encoding high quality lossy?
Secondly, how are people's experiences with FLAC - this looks pretty
good for not throwing away data, but getting some file compression.
