Don't be naive. It's a business like anything
else, and there aren't a lot of people making a fortune
at it (despite what may appear to be large fees), and
many who do wedding photography or videography jump ship
and move into other areas as soon as they can. The
work can be hard, the schedule unrelenting, and there
are probably more costs associated than you think.
That's not to say you shouldn't do it, or that it can't be
a viable career, but it ain't a bed of roses. If you're
thinking that you can just waltz in and make a killing
because it sounds like people are paying too much for
photography or videography for their weddings, it
probably isn't what you're looking for.
