this year on the Gulf Coast and in the southeast. We do a 2-cam video
most times and I can certainly understand your recent description of
the wedding. This can happen with videographers BUT I find it more
common with photographers. I've worked with a couple of very pushy
photographers. The point is, the VOG can make do with what they get on
film by editing . The POG only has one chance to get it right. And you
don't want to be on the recieving end of a mad bride. "I Can't believe
you didn't get the grooms cake!!!" And list goes on and on. Bottom line
is, it takes all kinds. It's like my good friend says.. " some days
your the windshield.. some days your the bug "... All jokes aside,
it's a matter of getting references. You want a professional to do your
wedding. It' very likely the most important day of two persons lives.
I've been married 30 years and I'm 55. When I do a wedding, I think
about the seriousness of the event, and I don't take that part of my
work lightly. Also, the brides family has output lots of time and
money. SO, If you are at a wedding and a VOG or POG blocks your view.
Too bad...Get over it... The bride makes 98% of the difference.
Have a great day!!!!
