I agree. The video direction is one of the worst jobs I've seen in a long
time.
Whoever is doing it suffers from extreme ADHD. No shot of an act is longer
than 1 or 2 seconds and always seems to cut away at the most interesting
moments.
It's as if the performance is meaningless. Reminds me of America's Funniest
Home Videos where the director considers that audience reaction is "cute".
Even though I like the show, the direction makes it almost unwatchable.
