Burning means nothing as far as the "format war" is concerned. DVD-RAM is
the best burning format of the current gen DVD formats, but no studio was
rushing to use it to distribute their movies on.
I suspect that Blu Ray will end up this generation's DVD-RAM; HD-DVD will
eventually win out as the studios' format of choice based on it costing less
to print up. The mass market players will play both HD-DVD and Blu Ray,
making this whole pissing contest irrelevant.
