Bang on there - the postage 'contract' is between the seller and Royal
Mail - the seller has purchased a service from the Royal Mail and so it
is them who has to make the claim. Sending the PoP to you is no use as
you received the item and so the Royal Mail will not deal with you.
(Assuming he used RM of course but this example is true for any courier)
