UKHotMovies.com's summer competition celebrates the recent DVD release
of V for Vendetta which has rocketed to the top of the bestseller
charts. We have three first prizes of the DVD and a comic book and five
runners up prizes each consisting of a V for Vendetta t-shirt and
beanie hat.
Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, the film
tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (Natlia
Portman) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked man
(Hugo Waaving) known only as "V." Charismatic and ferociously
skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when
he urges his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression.
