Here's what I'm trying to create, a mask that looks like this:

Where each of the six black bars above is about an 1/8 inch thick and
pure black, as in Black Video black. Simple, huh? A couple of free
brand new miniDV cartridges to the person with the best solution
fitting the criteria described in this thread. I'm desperate!
