Hi!

I'm planning to go to Asia and shoot some lonely planet-like
documentary. We're planning to follow the road from Singapore to
Bangkok, through Malaysia, and back (or maybe the other way, from BKK to
Singapore).

I'm planning to travel quite light, I don't want to carry a video cam
and accessories in the plane.

Does anyone know where to rent Panasonic P2 cams (SPX-800 or HVx-200) +
accessories (P2 cards etc...) in any of these countries? So far I only
found Sony Betacam or even CineAlta.

Alternatively, does anyone know a place, still in these countries, where
I could rent a Sony XDCam (recording on Hard Drive)?
