If you look at the episode guide you've just linked to, you'll see
that they do not include the mini-series under "Season 1".

No, it had 13. The mini-series is *not* a part of Season 1. If you
must, you can call it "Season 0". The mini-series was greenlit,
produced, and aired on Sci Fi. Based on its ratings, Sci Fi *then*
negotiated for a 13-episode first season to be produced.

Saying that the BSG mini-series is part of Season 1 is like saying
that the original theatrical film STARGATE is part of the first
season of STARGATE SG-1.
