Heck, even if he looks at the very psiode guide he linked to, the
mini-series is listed as the 'PILOT', and a pilot almost never
constitutes part of a season (hence, why it is usually listed as 'zero'
in the number of episodes.
In this particular case, the 4 part miniseries aired in December 2003,
and the first episode of Season 1 aired in January of 05, a full year
after the airing of the pilot, and enough time to qualify it, at least,
as a mini-season on its own.
Clearly, Bob's a good illustration why first cousins should not marry.
