True, but, certainly in my experience, its only been Region 1 stuff
that i've ordered from play.com (ok, playusa.com), and thats because,
although being based in the Channel Islands, the larger Region 1 stuff
(box sets, or even anything over 18 quid), is shipped direct from the
US and then picked up by customs
