Gotcha.
I don't think I'll get a deck anytime soon. I'm not a professional and
I don't think its worth it.
So, if I look on ebay for miniDV deck and it says DV cam on it, I'm
good?
One question unrelated to the original topic. Why Digital8? The codec
is the same as miniDV, but D8 is proprietary.
What are the advantages of Digital 8?
