Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of BRUCE LEE ULTIMATE COLLECTION,

RATED R: REPUBLICANS IN HOLLYWOOD, THE ROCKVILLE SLAYER, SEASON OF
THE WITCH / THERE'S ALWAYS VANILLA, and TOXIE'S TOP TEN: THE
COLLECTOR'S SET:
BRUCE LEE ULTIMATE COLLECTION (reviewed by Kerry Birmingham, overall
score 68/100):
"Once we get past the clumsy Bruce Lee-as-corrupted-man-of-the-people
stuff, we are treated to what is referred to in the ancient texts as 'a
great deal of asskickery.'"

CYCLONE (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 70/100):
"There was a lot of wind and rain (a lot of rain), but I never felt
that this cyclone was the be-all and end-all of travesties the film
wanted it to be."

DIVINE EMANUELLE: LOVE CULT (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall
score 50/100):
"I can't speak for anyone else, but seeing a naked Leo Sayer look-a-like
being flogged is always good for a laugh."

LENNY BRUCE: PERFORMANCE FILM (reviewed by Steve Evans, overall
score 70/100):
"Hilarity is subjective. Having seen this disc and listened to a couple
of Lenny Bruce records, I say with total conviction that he was not a
very funny guy. Provocative? Yes. Controversial? No doubt. Influential?
Absolutely. But he does not make me laugh."

RATED R: REPUBLICANS IN HOLLYWOOD (reviewed by Ian Visser, overall
score 50/100):
"Please, documentarians of the world, stay behind the camera and let
your subjects to the talking. "

THE ROCKVILLE SLAYER (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 69/100):
"Perhaps if you adjust your expectations and go in knowing it's a
psychological thriller and not a slasher pic, you might have a decent
time. For horror fans, I don't recommend it."

SEASON OF THE WITCH / THERE'S ALWAYS VANILLA (reviewed by Joel Pearce,
overall score 65/100):
"The characters talk about psychoanalysis, dream study, mind-altering
drugs, and sexual affairs with an almost textbook distance and
passivity. After an hour, I was begging for a zombie to come bursting
through the door."

TOXIE'S TOP TEN: THE COLLECTOR'S SET (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
score 62/100):
"My dear friends, are you ready for this explosion of schlock?! What
lies ahead are 10 -- that's right, 10 -- films of such low-grade
quality, that their very existence, together, in one set, will likely
create great rifts in the space-time continuum, throwing all of
existence off-kilter, and ushering in an era of existential breakdown
that will surely obliterate all of creation."
