You bet........ sorta.
And it isn't very inexpensive.
The Sony HDCF950 is a very robust Camcorder and is probably the 'go
to' choice of cinematographers who must shoot major portions of their
feature production in HD ............. and have the budget
The equipment comparison is identical to film cameras in the sense
that the major components are purchased separately to make up the
final product.
To clarify.
The Camcorder body of the HDCF950 is only one component. Right now it
retails four just under $116,000.00.
But, you will need a viewfinder. You have several choices, ranging
from just under $4,000.00 to about $15, 500.00.
Now that you have a viewfinder, you will need a series of lenses.
(just like a 35mm movie camera system.)
Take your pick. Depending on the parameters of the production a set of
three HD primes and a HD zoom lens and it's utility system will run
you just about another $115,000.00
Throw in batteries, chargers, camera control unit (optional), cases
and power supply and you will be out just another $12,000.00.
And that is just the arguable 'camcorder' equivalent of what is most
commonly used to for MOST............. not all........... types of
major feature films intended for theatrical release.
THEN (and for maybe another decade perhaps) it all gets transferred to
film and distributed to the theaters.

Is there a consumer or pro-sumer camcorder that is considered by the
motion picture industry as a whole (major production companies,
producers, directors and director of photography who make feature
films (that are actually released) for a living that there is an
equivalent to the 'big screen' 35mm motion picture cameras?
Not yet.
