If anyone in the group can help with this, I would really appreciate it.
You make a DVD for a wedding client. She calls back and says it won't
play on her player, or it freezes, or any of a number of ills.
Now, I know that there are some compatibility problems with writable
discs and some home players, but all I want to know is how to get around
this and make the MOST compatible, most reliable DVDs I can, so this
doesn't happen. Are there any discs better than others; are -R better
than +R; are Video TS folders better than ISO files; are slower burn
speeds better; are lower bitrates on the DVD better. I haven't got time
to try all of the permutations of these, so I was just wondering if
anyone has a handle on this, how to make a reliable DVD.
We use Verbatim discs and the latest Pioneer and HP burners.
