loses 50% of its credibility right out of the box.

expert on technology? LOL :-)
And from "Sony Pictures"?
We could list a whole sub-genre of documentaries on
"Who killed the <technology of your choice>"
where Sony is the prime suspect.
Gulping the kool-aid might not be good for you.
