Not me.
I know this goies against all mores of USENET posting but I have to
admit to a sloppy reading of Mr. Tapeguy's post. Apologies all 'round.
We went round and round here some time ago about Mr. Tapeguy's
recommendation of Panasonic tape. There was discussion of the "wet"
and "dry" lubricants.
I was expecting Mr. Tapeguy to advance his old familiar points....and
maybe he will.
As to whether or not tape was furnished with a goopy lube at some time
in the past, I don't know....1997 was before my time. I suspect it may
be true. But there are those that say you should use Panasonic tape
because of this.
I use Sony tape in my Sony camera. Others are free to do as they
please.
But yiou watch what salesmen say.
