Nero has a verify function.
But Nero is a piece of crap. Use DVD Decrypter to burn DVDs.
Also, it's more likely you have bad discs. Almost all disc
manufacturers have sourced crap made in Taiwan. The only one from
Japan who makes only their own discs is Taiyo Yuden. You can get TY
cheap at rima.com.
